Seagull
was established in June 1977. The company presently has two divisions,
trading and manufacturing and has a total workforce of 35 employees,
25 of which is assigned to production. It originally started as
a trading company engaged in the wholesale and retail trade of assorted
office and school supplies which were locally sourced. In 1980,
it started importing merchandise requirements directly from the
USA, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong and Netherlands. In 1986, the manufacturing
division was created, started producing office supplies such as
documentary files, 3-ring binders and photo albums. In 1991, it
expanded the production line to include lever arch files, assorted
types of polypropylene plastic folders, inner refills and many more
with the use of machineries specifically imported from the USA. |
